Kelsey Hawkins, Assistant Project Manager

During the summer of 2018, JA made a big change as they closed the doors to their solid brick office in Cambridge and moved on to a virtual headquarters.

“For me,” says Kelsey, with her wide Texas grin, “the timing couldn’t have been better.”

Before joining JA, Kelsey worked in project-coordination and supervision roles in music, film and local government. She assisted the Executive Director of Economic Development in her quaint hometown, the historically sleepy yet quintessential Texas cow town, not far from the Oklahoma border. The town has grown in recent years, thanks in part to Kelsey’s work on a citywide branding initiative and the recruitment of quality-of-life businesses.

Kelsey is also a music enthusiast, and when a coordinator position opened in Los Angeles, she jumped. Her LA work included clearing and licensing music for a variety of TV shows and films including the Amazon Prime series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, the remake of Suspiria, and the hit TV series, Younger

Kelsey graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. She also brushed up on her Spanish and love of art history while studying abroad at the Universidad de Granada in southern Spain. She is currently reconnecting with her native Texas roots in Dallas, where she indulges in breakfast tacos. “But only on the weekends!”

Stephanie was wonderful! She worked diligently on the logistics and had excellent communication skills. Thanks for all she did.
